📅 Assignment Details
Schedule: 3 weekends per month
Shift: Friday 5:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM
Call Type: 24-hour call coverage
🏥 Practice Setting
Setting: Hospital
Hospital Size: 163 beds
EMR: Epic
Support Staff: APP team + surgeon backup
🩺 Work Details
Patient Population: Adults (18+)
Average Callback (including rounding): ~4 hours/day

Responsibilities Include:
Managing cardiac surgery patients over the weekend
Supporting urgent surgical cases from cath lab to OR
Rounding and patient management from ICU through discharge
🧠 Clinical Scope
Procedures: Vein harvesting required
Work alongside surgeon (available for backup after consults)
Manage patient flow from ICU to discharge
👥 Team Environment
Collaborative APP team
Surgeon support available as needed
Mix of urgent and stabilized cases
✅ Requirements
License: Active PA license required
DEA: Required
Experience: Minimum 3 years cardiac surgery experience
Certifications: Acute care certification NOT required

Timeline: ~90 days
Temps: Available with clean file

• 13 weeks with option to extend
• 24 hour call
