Cath/EP Physician Assistant Needed in NYC

Job description

Location: New York City, NY
Start: As soon as credentialed (6–8 weeks)
Assignment Length: 13 weeks (3 months with option to extend)
Openings: 3 Physician Assistants

Schedule:

* Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM
* 12–14 hour shifts
* Typically 4 shifts per week (full-time hours)
* No scheduled weekends or holidays

Call:

* Weekend and holiday call available (preferred, not required)
* 24-hour beeper call with 30-minute response time for STEMI
* Procedures typically last 1–2 hours

Practice Setting:

* Cath Lab
* EMR: Epic

Work Details:

* First assist in cardiac catheterization procedures
* Provide procedural support in the Cath Lab
* Assist with pre- and post-procedure patient care
* Perform patient assessments and support clinical decision-making
* Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and Cath Lab staff

Volume:

* 15–20 cases per day (lab volume)
* 6–10 cases per provider per shift
* Two providers staffed daily

Requirements:

* Graduate of an accredited PA program
* Active New York license required
* No DEA required
* Cath Lab or cardiology experience preferred
* Ability to work in a fast-paced procedural setting

Travel:

* Open to travel candidates; airfare, lodging, and rental car covered
