Job description

Cath/EP Physician Assistant Needed in NYC:
• Start: ASAP (once credentialed)
• Length: 3 months ongoing
• Schedule: Mon–Fri, 7a–8p
• Shifts: 12–14 hrs, ~4 shifts/week (full-time)
• No scheduled weekends/holidays
• EMR: Epic
Call (Optional but Preferred)
• Weekend/holiday beeper call
• 30-min response time for STEMI
• Procedures typically 1–2 hrs
Responsibilities
• First assist in cardiac cath procedures
• Support in Cath Lab + pre/post-procedure care
• Patient assessments + clinical decision support
• Work closely with physicians, nurses, and staff
Volume
• 15–20 cases/day
• 6–10 cases per provider per shift
• 2 providers staffed daily
Requirements
• Active NY license (required)
• Board-certified PA
• Graduate of accredited PA program
• No DEA needed
• Cath Lab or cardiology experience preferred
• Comfortable in procedural/acute care setting
Travel
• Airfare, lodging, and rental car covered
Credentialing
• ASAP (typically ~6–8 weeks)
