Job description

A General Cardiology locums opportunity is available in Cottonwood, Arizona, offering recurring weekday coverage blocks, a collaborative support team, and an expedited credentialing timeline.

Assignment Details:
Location: Cottonwood, AZ
Coverage: Ongoing
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
1-hour unpaid lunch
Overtime applies after scheduled shift

Openings from September through December.

Practice Setting:
Cardiovascular Institute / Hospital & Clinic
Primarily patients age 60+
Approximately 18–24 clinic patients per day
General Cardiology coverage
EMR: Cerner

Support:
Medical Assistants
Patient Care Technicians
Nursing staff
PA support for inpatient coverage

Requirements:
Board Certified in Cardiology
Active Arizona license or IMLC LOQ
ACLS and BLS required
Minimum 2 years of experience
Strong interpersonal and patient-care skills preferred

Credentialing:
Approximately 30 days
