Opportunity:
Physician - Interventional Cardiology

Job Details:

• Locum Tenens opportunity providing inpatient interventional cardiology coverage on a call-only basis
• This is strictly a STEMI call position with providers expected to handle approximately 9-18 STEMIs per month
• Some non-STEMI cardiac emergencies may arise and will be triaged based on urgency in collaboration with the cardiology team
• 24-hour beeper call coverage with shift times running 7am to 7am
• Availability of 7-15 shifts per month required
• Active California medical license required - no IMLC accepted
• Active DEA required
• Board Certified or Board Eligible within 3-5 years of residency completion required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Provider must have a clean file including clean NPDB, clean malpractice history (dismissed and dropped cases included), and a clean background check in order to obtain emergency temps
• Current CV must be uploaded with bid submission
• Estimated credentialing timeframe is approximately 30 days
• Providers must be available for a Teams interview within the next two weeks with a staff physician and the hospital CEO
• Start date: August 1, 2026 - Ongoing
