Opportunity:
Board Certified - Interventional Cardiology

Job Details:

• Locum Tenens opportunity providing inpatient interventional cardiology coverage on a 24-hour beeper call basis
• Coverage dates needed: 11/11-17, 11/25-12/1, 12/8-12/11, and 12/18-1/1
• Shift times run 7am to 7am with 24-hour call responsibilities
• Expected patient encounters of 10-15 per shift
• Practice mix will be approximately 75% interventional and 25% noninvasive cardiology
• Nuclear (NUC) reading and NUC activity will be required
• Active California medical license required - no IMLC accepted
• Active DEA registration required
• Board Certified or Board Eligible within 3-5 years of residency required
• Active fluoroscopy certification required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of current hospital clinical activity in the specialty required
• Any gaps greater than 3 months in clinical activity must be explained
• Current case logs must be included upon presentation
• Updated CV with all hospital affiliations must be submitted at time of presentation
• Estimated credentialing timeframe is 60-90 days
• Long-term housing assistance available if needed
