The institution is structured to accommodate locum tenens clinicians providing clinic-based cardiovascular coverage. Clinical resources and support staff, including a medical assistant, clinic supervisor, and registered nurse, are in place to facilitate effective care delivery throughout the assignment period.

About the clinician's workday

Clinicians will provide full scope outpatient general cardiology coverage on a day shift basis at an on-site clinic in California, with no call obligations required. Interventional cardiologists are eligible for consideration provided they are willing to perform general cardiology duties throughout the assignment. A caseload of 20 patients per day is expected during the coverage period. Board certification in Cardiovascular Diseases is required for consideration.
