This is a top-tier health system in northern Michigan providing comprehensive cardiac care services to the region. The facility utilizes Cerner as its Electronic Health Record (EHR) system and maintains a well-supported inpatient cardiology team that includes three Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) working alongside the inpatient cardiology provider.

Job Details:

• Provide comprehensive inpatient cardiology coverage Sunday through Saturday, including hospital and call responsibilities
• 24-hour inpatient and call coverage from 6am to 6am with no clinic responsibilities
• Work alongside three (3) inpatient Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) supporting the inpatient cardiology team
• Perform and interpret echocardiography studies
• Perform and interpret treadmill stress tests
• Perform and interpret chemical stress tests
• Must be Board Certified in Cardiology
• Must hold an active Michigan medical license
• Must reside in Michigan or near Michigan - drive in only, no flights
• Must have a clean background for quick credentialing
• DEA verification required at name clear
• Self-Query NPDB required at time of presentation (pulled within the month)
