This facility maintains established clinical protocols and the infrastructure necessary to support inpatient cardiovascular disease management on an on-site basis. The facility is structured to accommodate locum tenens clinicians providing 24-hour call-based cardiovascular coverage on an ongoing basis. Clinical resources and inpatient APP support are in place to facilitate effective care delivery throughout the assignment period.

Michigan offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of outdoor and cultural activities suited to varied interests. The region features paved trail systems, state parks spanning thousands of acres between inland lakes and Lake Michigan, and farm experiences with fresh produce. Venues for arts and cultural entertainment are accessible throughout the area, alongside historic sites and waterfront communities offering parks, farmers markets, and live music. Mackinac Island, where no motor vehicles are permitted, provides a distinctive experience with bike rides and horse-drawn carriage tours. Communities throughout the region offer a broad range of dining, waterfront recreation, and seasonal activities year-round.

About the clinician's workday

Clinicians will provide inpatient cardiovascular disease management on a 24-hour call basis, structured as 6:00 AM to 6:00 AM shifts, with hospital coverage only and no clinic duties. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment and is scheduled Sunday through Saturday. The inpatient team is supported by three Advanced Practice Clinicians who work alongside and assist with inpatient clinical operations throughout each coverage period. Board certification in Cardiovascular Diseases is required for consideration.
