This established healthcare facility serves the Richlands community and surrounding Southwest Virginia region, providing comprehensive cardiovascular and internal medicine services. The facility features a 4-bed department with strong support systems in place to ensure quality patient care.

Opportunity:
Physician - Internal Medicine - Cardiology

Job Details:

• Provide both outpatient and inpatient cardiology services with 10-12 patient encounters per shift
• Manage ICU-level cardiology patients requiring advanced cardiac care
• Perform and interpret non-invasive cardiology procedures including echocardiography and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
• Conduct nuclear cardiology studies including Cardiolyte and thallium imaging
• Manage STEMI cases with appropriate clinical decision-making
• Perform electrophysiology services including cardiac ablation
• Perform permanent pacemaker placements and implantable cardioverter defibrillator (AICD/ICD) procedures
• Active Virginia medical license required
• ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications required
• Estimated credentialing timeframe of approximately 30 days
