Cardiologist | Inpatient Coverage + Night Call | URGENT September Need | Everett, WA

Job description

Start: September 7, 2026 - immediate need for September 7-13, ongoing thereafter
Length: Initial one-week block, with ongoing recurring coverage available
Coverage: Scheduled clinical hours plus call - inpatient days plus night pager call
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00-17:30, with night pager call 17:00-7:00 on select nights (not every night)
Call: Ability to cover both inpatient shifts and night call is required
Volume: Approximately 15-18 patients per shift
Practice Setting: Inpatient cardiology, Level II trauma center
Population: Adults
Bonus: A $750/day bonus is offered for providers able to cover the September 7-13 dates
Overtime applies after 10 hours per day (not 40 hours per week)

Responsibilities:
- Inpatient cardiology consults, evaluation, and management
- Daily rounding and treatment planning
- Night pager call coverage on assigned nights
- Documentation in Epic

Requirements:
- Board Certified in Cardiology
- Fellowship training preferred
- Washington state license required - IMLC accepted; client is willing to license
- DEA required
- Must be able to cover both inpatient shifts and night call
- Clean credentialing file required - all locum providers go through the site's temporary privileges process
- COVID-19 vaccination required - medical and religious exemptions only

Credentialing:
- Standard credentialing timeframe: approximately 90 days; temporary privileges process applies for this site
