This well-established medical center is part of a respected regional healthcare network serving the greater southeastern Washington community. The facility operates a 12-bed department and holds a Level 3 trauma designation, providing a broad range of inpatient, outpatient, and critical care services with strong physician support.
Opportunity:
Physician - Internal Medicine - Cardiology
Job Details:
- Long-term, full-time locum tenens assignment with a November start date
- Outpatient clinic coverage Monday through Friday with weeknight and 24-hour weekend beeper call
- Monthly call schedule includes approximately 2 weeks on call per month (1 week Monday-Sunday and 1 week Monday-Friday)
- 8-hour clinic days within operational hours of 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Minimum of 4 weeks of coverage required per month
- Up to 15 patient encounters per shift
- Provide both outpatient and inpatient cardiology services, including ICU coverage
- Non-invasive cardiology required, including echocardiography, TEE, and nuclear cardiology (Cardiolyte, thallium, etc.)
- Active Washington State license or IMLC required
- Board certification required (BC only)
- Active DEA required
- ACLS certification required
- Clean file required
- Estimated credentialing timeframe is 90 days
- Long-term housing pre-approval required; regional lodging budget is $3,000 per month
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
