Facility:
This established hospital provides comprehensive cardiovascular services to the region with a dedicated cardiac catheterization lab and experienced cardiac team. The facility features a well-equipped department with 2 cath labs and 4 beds, supported by 7 RNs and 8 techs during regular hours, with a call team of 3 RNs and 1 tech.

Opportunity:
Physician - Interventional Cardiology

Job Details:
• Coverage needed from 7am May 25, 2026 through 7am June 1, 2026
• STEMI call coverage with 24/7 availability for emergency interventional procedures
• Work alongside 2 full-time interventional cardiologists on staff
• Handle consults on unassigned cardiology inpatients and other procedures as credentialed
• All cases are ER-based with variable patient encounters per shift
• Practice in a facility with 2 catheterization labs and 3 exam rooms
• Inpatient practice type with board certification required
• Orientation preferred the day before first call shift, timing varies based on Meditec familiarity
• Locum volume varies from 0 to a few cases per week
• Must maintain West Virginia medical license or IMLC
• BLS certification required
• Credentialing timeframe 7-10 days
• Lodging available at Best Western Plus Inn with hospital rate of $95/night
