General Cardiology Locums Opportunity – Wisconsin | Call Required

Job description

A hospital-based cardiology service in Southeast, Wisconsin is seeking a Board-Certified General Cardiologist for locum tenens coverage with onsite clinical hours and call responsibilities. This is a collaborative team environment with ongoing coverage needs.

Assignment Overview:
Location: Southeast WI
Specialty: General Cardiology (MD/DO)
Contract Length: 3 months, ongoing
Coverage Type: Onsite clinical + call

Schedule & Call:
- Clinic / Hospital Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Weekday Call: 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Weekend Call: 24-hour call Saturday & Sunday (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)

Practice & Work Details:
- Patient Volume: ~12 patients per day
- Patient Population: Adult–Geriatric
- EMR: Epic

Skills & Scope:
- Comfortable reading and interpreting ECGs
- General inpatient and consultative cardiology coverage

Requirements:
- Board Certification: Required (ABIM / ACC)
- Fellowship: Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship required
- License: Active Wisconsin license
- DEA: Required
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS

Credentialing:
- Timeframe: Approximately 45–60 days
