Licensed Therapist - Echo Park - Spanish speaking desired

California Psychological Services, Inc. is a comprehensive agency providing an impressive breadth of direct mental health services to a diverse range of clientele within the greater Los Angeles area. We provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy. The cornerstone of our practice constitutes empirically-based approaches, an acknowledgment of the fundamental mind-body connection, and strong ethics rooted in a social justice sensibility. On top of that, we have a team who is comfortable and experienced in offering faith-based care tailored to the needs of our clients.

On that front, we are seeking to expand our team with a Christian faith-based licensed therapist who can provide high-quality psychotherapy services to our clients. We are especially looking for Spanish-speaking therapists who would like to provide in-person sessions at our colocated clinic in a residential setting. We are also looking for therapists who are willing to see families, couples, and children. Lastly, while it is our desire to expand our Christian counseling services, we are looking for associates who are comfortable with both clients who expressively desire Christian therapy and those who do not.

Responsibilities:

· Provide individual, couples, and family therapy sessions (in-person)

· Develop effective treatment plans and goals based on client needs

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records

· Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed

Requirements:

· Active licensure as a therapist in the state of California

· Master's or doctoral degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field

· Experience working in a clinical setting

· Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Basic Computer Literacy (familiarity with the Simple Practice platform is a plus)

Our practice is in-network with most major insurance companies including Kaiser, Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross, Optum, Blue Shield, Healthnet, and Carelon. All new therapists will be contracted with the insurance panels.

In addition, we provide low sliding scale rates for those who do not have coverage, in stride with our social justice mentality. Lastly, we see people who would like to incorporate religion and/or spirituality into their traditional psychotherapy.
