Dermatology Physician (MOHS)
Job description
Schedule: Minimum 3 days/week; ideal 5 days/week. Typical hours: 8am–5pm, Monday–Friday (current surgeon works 4x10s)
· Practice Setting: Outpatient and Surgical procedures
· Types of Cases: Frozen immunostaining for melanoma, squamous cell carcinoma (SCC), and other rare tumors. Complex cases and rare tumors such as Extramammary Paget disease (EMPD) and Dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans (DFSP). Radical excision for hidradenitis in an operating room (OR) setting. Typical day includes 8 Mohs surgeries/day, 2 excisions, and 2 post operative visits at baseline.
· Credentialing Timeframe: 30-60 days
· Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC
· Certifications Required: Board Certification; Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) accredited fellowship trained in Mohs micrographic surgery & dermatologic oncology (MSDO)
· Licensure Required: California license required
