Ortho/Trauma Surgery APP Needed in Sacramento, CA

Job description

Assignment Details:

* Start Date: ASAP (temporary privileges approved)
* Duration: 6-month contract
* Schedule: Ideally Thursday–Sunday nights (flexible for other night availability)
* Shift Length: 12-hour night shifts
* Setting: Level I Trauma, academic medical center

Work Details:

* Provide emergency care for hand-related injuries in the ER
* Responsibilities include stabilization, fracture reductions, and amputation revisions
* EMR: Epic

Procedures:

* Wound and tissue debridement
* Finger amputation revision
* Hematoma block for distal radius fractures
* Closed reduction of finger joint fractures
* Closed reduction of distal radius fractures
* Nailbed repair

Additional Info:

* High-acuity trauma environment
* Open to candidates with varying night availability
