Emergency Medicine NP/PA Needed in Newburyport, MA:
Start Date: October 2026
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Employment Type: 1099 Locum Tenens
Schedule: 3–6 shifts per month
Shift Length: 9-hour shifts
Shift Times:
9:00 AM–6:00 PM
11:00 AM–9:00 PM
4:00 PM–12:00 AM
No call
83-bed community hospital
Annual ED volume of approximately 27,000 visits
24/7 Emergency Department
Fast Track available
24 hours/day physician coverage
27 hours/day APP coverage
Epic EMR
Experienced team of board-certified Emergency Medicine physicians, NPs, and PAs
Strong nursing and clinical support
Advanced technology and specialty backup
Requirements
Board Certified Physician Assistant
Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Medicine experience
Active Massachusetts PA license
Active Massachusetts DEA
Travel
Mileage reimbursement provided
Lodging provided if needed
No airfare reimbursement
