Emergency Medicine NP/PA - Locum Tenens - Sunnyvale, TX

Job description

A new emergency department in the Sunnyvale, TX area is seeking a locum Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Clinician (NP or PA) for a start-up program. This 6-month assignment begins on or around July 31, 2026, with 1 FTE of coverage needed.

Shift options include day, night, and swing shifts (8a-5p, 10a-10p, 5p-2a). The facility uses Cerner. It is a 70-bed hospital with a Level 4 trauma designation, averaging 2.4 patients per hour. 1-3 years of EM experience is preferred. Acceptable board certifications include NCCPA or NCCNP; ATLS and PALS are required.

Provider rate is $110/hour. Temporary or emergency privileges will be granted. Sunnyvale is a fast-growing suburb of Dallas offering excellent dining, recreation, and access to the broader DFW metroplex.
