Minnesota ER shift coverage needs outside of Minneapolis

Job description

Seeking a Emergency MD for busy MN ER during cold/fly season pick up! ABFM cert is accepted.

November start is ideal
12 hr shifts (7a-7p), 6-8 shifts per month
Work Details:
· Support staff: RT, Psych, Teleintensivist, Ortho, Gen Surg, OB/GYN, CRNA, and occasional mid-levels
· Patients per day: Approx. 15 a shift is more typical, right now we are in our busy season and 15-20 or even 25 in a shift is not uncommon
· Patient population/age: All ages
· Department description: Single Coverage ER
· EMR: EPIC
· Hospital bed size: 11
Requirements:
*experience at community sites
· Board Certification: required
· State license required: Yes
· DEA: required
· Certifications required: ACLS, PALS, ATLS or CALS

• 6-8 shifts per month
• single coverage w/support staff
• ABFM cerification with EM experience is accepted
