Job description

An Emergency Medicine program located approximately 15 minutes from downtown Meridian, Mississippi is seeking ABEM-certified or board-eligible physicians for ongoing locum coverage.

Details:

Start Date: Ongoing need

Schedule: Flexible locum coverage based on provider availability

Certification: ABEM required (board eligible with active exam participation considered)

Training Requirement:

ACGME or AOA-approved Emergency Medicine residency required

PGY-2+ residents eligible for EM privileges (military physicians excepted)

Experience: Must demonstrate active Emergency Medicine practice within the past 12 months

Extenuating circumstances may be reviewed by medical leadership

Privileges: Maintenance of board certification required for reappointment

Environment: Regional medical center with modern facilities, supportive staff, and strong clinical resources
