Position: Emergency Department Physician (Board Certified/Board Eligible – EM, IM, or FM)

ED Physician Responsibilities:
Immediate evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of ED patients, including referrals from other VA providers
Manage the full spectrum of emergency cases from minor injuries to major trauma
Provide professional guidance to other ED providers and fast-track staff
Document care in the VA Electronic Health Record (EHR) in accordance with VA and HIPAA standards
Qualifications:
MD or DO with unrestricted U.S. medical license
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (IM/FM considered with ≥2 years recent ED experience)
DEA registration
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Skilled in treating patients of all ages
