North Carolina Emergency Medicine Need

Job description

• 6 month assignment
• 5 providers to start PRN in October and then additional 10 in January
• Minimum # of shifts acceptable - 3 shifts
• Must be ABEM OR AOBEM or BC FM with EM experience- will not accept alternate boards
• ATLS, ACLS, PALS and BALS all required
• Staffing model is 1 MD and 1 APC
• Shift times 7a - 7p and 7p - 7a
• NPPA shift times are 12p - 9p
• Annual volume is 13000
• % of admiited patients - 15
• No Trauma level designation
• No scribe coverage
• 25 ICU beds
• EMR is Meditech
• Must have active NC license
• Must have Flu vaccination
• 90 day creds timeline
• Can get expedited privileges with agencies and providers working together
