Oklahoma Emergency Medicine Locum Need (72hr shifts)

Job description

• The ED has 6 beds available
• Hybrid program (Hours 7-7; 24 hrs a day and can cover up to 5 days straight)
• This facility average last month was about 172 ED encounters per month, and 9 inpatients daily
• BE/BC preferred for FP or ED but not required
• Completion of Residency is required (Residents NOT accepted)
• ER Experience is required
• ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS all required
• Case by case basis on whether a file with background will have to go to meetings prior to working
• EMR is Epic
• The majority of traffic on the inpatient floor is due to their Swing Bed Program. This program is extremely important to the facility. Swing bed patients are seen once per week
• CT, XRAY, some US and Labs 24/7
