Facility in Harrisburg, PA seeking EM locums coverage Rates: $350/hr Opportunity Highlights Flexible Schedule: Work 9-hour shifts with a mix of days (6 AM - 3 PM), mids (1 PM - 10 PM), 2 PM shifts (2 PM - 11 PM), and nights (10 PM - 7 AM). We have roughly 125 shifts available per month across our system. Preference is given to applicants willing to work all shift types. Collaborative Environment: Work within a physician and APP model. Our hospitals frequently accept more acute transfers from other facilities in the region. You will not work solo. Epic EMR: Utilize the Epic electronic medical record system for efficient charting and patient management. Quick Privileging: Estimated 60 days for full or temporary privileges. Responsibilities Provide high-quality emergency medical care to a diverse patient population, which includes a mix of adults (85%) and pediatrics (15%). Manage a wide range of emergency room cases and actively participate in a collaborative care model. Contribute to the smooth operation of the emergency department by effectively handling patient flow and clinical responsibilities. Requirements Education: MD or DO. Board Status: ABEM Board Certification is REQUIRED. If Board Eligible, you must hold ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in Emergency Medicine. Licensure: Active Pennsylvania State License is required to apply. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS. DEA: Active DEA required. Start Date Estimated start date: October 6, 2025.
