Aya Locums is seeking an ER physician at a facility an hour outside of San Antonio, TX

Start Date: 12/15/25
Contract Length: Ongoing
Shift Details: 7a-7p, 7p-7a

Work Details:
· 25 beds
· EMR: Meditech
Requirements:
· Board Certification: At least 2 years minimum in FSEDs or FM with EM fellowship
· License required: Texas IMLC allowed
· Skills required: Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, evaluating and managing acute medical conditions, injuries, and emergencies.
· Conduct thorough medical assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop appropriate treatment plans for patients.
· Stabilize and manage critically ill patients, including those requiring resuscitation and advanced life support interventions.
· Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, consult with specialists, and arrange appropriate transfers, if necessary.
· Adhere to established protocols and guidelines for the management of emergency cases, ensuring high-quality and evidence-based care.
· Effectively communicate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide education, support, and a patient-centered care experience.

Skills required: Intubations, central line placement, Ultrasound utilization, OB delivery, dislocation reductions, chest tube placement, trauma management, laceration repair.

• 12 hr shifts - day and night
• Texas IMLC considered
