Location: 1 Medical Center Drive, Clarksburg, WV 26301
Schedule: 24/7 Emergency Department coverage (day, evening, night shifts)
Contract Type: Onsite, Board Certified/Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians

About the Role:
JR Enterprise is seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians to provide high-quality care to veterans in a state-of-the-art Emergency Department accredited by The Joint Commission (TJC). This role offers the opportunity to practice full-scope emergency medicine, including trauma, medical, and psychiatric emergencies, while following ACEP and AAEM guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct patient care in the ED: triage, resuscitation, stabilization, diagnosis, and disposition.
Perform minor and major procedures, including suturing, fracture reductions, central lines, intubation, chest tubes, and procedural sedation.
Provide initial evaluation and emergent care across specialties: cardiovascular, respiratory, GI, endocrine, musculoskeletal, neuro, OB/GYN, ophthalmology, ENT, dermatology, and psychiatric emergencies.
Stabilize and coordinate transfer for patients requiring higher-level care.
Ensure accurate documentation in the VA electronic health record (CPRS) and maintain HIPAA compliance.
Participate in staff meetings, quality improvement programs, and mandatory VA training.
Qualifications:
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM)
Active, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state, territory, or D.C.
DEA registration and National Provider Identifier (NPI)
Completion of required VA training: ACLS, BLS, EHR, infection control, and other mandatory courses
Strong clinical skills and technical proficiency
Excellent communication skills in English
U.S. citizenship or federal contracting eligibility compliance
