Endocrinologist Locums – Outpatient Only | 2 Weeks/Month | No Call

Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified Endocrinologist for a locum tenens opportunity in a well-established outpatient endocrinology clinic.

Assignment Details:
Schedule: 2 weeks per month
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
No Call

Practice Setting:
Outpatient Endocrinology Clinic
EMR: Epic
Adult and geriatric patient population
Solo physician practice supported by one APP
Patient Volume: 12–15 patients per day

Clinical Scope:
Manage a wide variety of endocrine conditions including:
Diabetes
Hyperthyroidism & hypothyroidism
Graves' disease
Thyroid nodules
Pituitary disorders
Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) experience preferred

Requirements:
MD or DO
Board Certified in Internal Medicine
Fellowship-trained in Endocrinology
Active state license required: Illinois
DEA
BLS certification
Minimum 1 year of experience preferred

Additional Information:
Temporary privileges available within a few weeks for providers with a clean background
Credentialing timeframe: approximately 60 days
Ongoing coverage needs expected well into 2027
Travel covered, including airfare, hotel, and rental car
