Established clinical protocols and appropriate resources are in place to support locum tenens clinicians during assigned coverage periods.

About the clinician's workday

The endocrinologist will provide clinic-based endocrinology services Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, covering 2 weeks per month at an on-site facility in Illinois. The clinician will manage 12-15 patients per day, addressing conditions that include hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, Graves' disease, thyroid nodules, pituitary disorders, and diabetes for an adult patient population. Call coverage is required as part of this assignment. All clinical documentation is to be completed using the EPIC EMR system.
