Job description
Context:
Tertiary academic medical center providing subspecialty care for complex gastrointestinal and pancreaticobiliary conditions. Role focuses on diagnostic evaluation, longitudinal management, and multidisciplinary coordination. No procedures required.
Task:
Provide comprehensive GI clinical care including evaluation and management of complex conditions such as pancreatic cysts, chronic pancreatitis, GI bleeding, colorectal neoplasia, and neuroendocrine tumors. Support advanced endoscopy program through patient triage, imaging review, and procedural coordination. Participate in surveillance programs, multidisciplinary care planning, patient education, and clinical documentation in Epic.
Specialty: Gastroenterology (open to candidates with oncology background)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts
Patient Population: Adults 18+

Work Details:
Manage complex GI and pancreaticobiliary cases in outpatient clinic
Conduct new consults and follow-ups
Coordinate care with GI, radiology, oncology, hepatology, surgery, and primary care
Review imaging, pathology, and lab data to guide treatment plans
Support advanced endoscopy workflow (ERCP, EUS, EMR, DBE coordination only)
Participate in surveillance and risk management programs
Provide patient counseling and education
Document care and support clinical quality initiatives
Requirements:
Oregon license - will license
Credentialing: 30-60 days
Preferences:
Experience in gastroenterology or oncology preferred
Comfortable working in academic, multidisciplinary setting
Strong care coordination and patient communication skills
