Locum Tenens Gastroenterologist – 24-Hour Call

Assignment Details

Start Date: November 24, 2026
Contract Length: 20 weeks
Coverage: 24-hour on-call shifts
Current coverage dates include:
November 24 at 7 AM – December 1 at 7 AM
December 8 at 7 AM – December 15 at 7 AM
Additional coverage dates may become available.
No block scheduling.

Clinical Details

Inpatient hospital setting
Adult patient population
Approximately 8–12 patients per day
Daily rounding may be required depending on census.
When not rounding or performing procedures, the provider may remain offsite until called back.
Average call-back time is approximately 6 hours per day.
Required procedures: Colonoscopy and EGD
EMR: Epic
Approximately 350 beds

Support

Other physicians and APCs available.
Onsite APC support is provided during weekday daytime hours.
Additional weekend APC support is being developed.

Requirements

Board Certified in Gastroenterology
Active Washington license or IMLC with LOQ
Current BLS certification
Documentation/case list demonstrating at least 100 representative patients/procedures within the previous 24 months, including diagnosis/procedure, date, and facility.
