Location: A city in Illinois, it’s apart of the Greater St. Louis metropolitan area and has a rich history and vibrant community. Facility: A 222-bed acute care Magnet-designated hospital offering emergency and critical care services as well as medical and surgical along with a full complement of diagnostic and treatment services. Opportunity: Looking for a new GI physician 2 weeks of coverage needed monthly - starting 1/13/2025 Schedule is 24hr On Call Daily to include 8 hours of patient contact, callback hours after 8 hours. Onsite Lab Onsite X Rays EMR - EPIC/Provation for GI procedure documentation Required Procedures: Esophageal Dilatation Small Bowel Biopsy Lower GI Endoscopy Sigmoidoscopy Colonoscopy Insertion/Management of Sengstaken/Blakemore Tube Required Types of Upper GI Endoscopy: with Biopsy with Foreign Body Removal with Fulguration of Bleeder (Cautery) with Banding of Varices with ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography) Diagnostic Therapeutic with PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy) Compensation: Competitive weekly pay and malpractice included
