Gastroenterology Opportunity in New York
Schedule: 24-hour call coverage
Additional Details:
• Monday through Friday call includes approximately 8 hours of patient contact through office visits and in-person consults.
• Office hours are 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
• Procedure hours are 7:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
• Typically up to two procedure days per week, depending on provider availability.
• Weekends include 24-hour call with four hours of gratis time.
• Callback applies when the provider is called back into the hospital.
• Adult patients with a wide variety of acute medical conditions.
• Approximately 15–20 patients per provider.
• Required experience includes PEG tube placement, esophageal dilation, and upper and lower endoscopy.
• EPIC experience required.
• Board certification and at least two years of recent experience required.
• New York license in hand required. Pending licenses will not be accepted.
• AHA BLS and ACLS or RQI certification required.
• Residents and fellows will not be accepted.
• Must have a complete, up-to-date work history with no gaps of 30 days or more.
