Job description

I'm partnered with a hospital in North Carolina, seeking a Gastroenterologist for a 6-month locum assignment starting August 2026, with ongoing need. This is a weekday-only position with no call and a strong procedural focus.

Position Overview:
- Start Date: August 2026
- Contract Length: 6 months (ongoing potential)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- No call
- No weekends

Practice Setting:
- Inpatient coverage
- Dedicated APP support
- EMR: Epic
- Adult and geriatric patient population

Scope of Practice:
- General GI coverage
- ERCP and EUS required

Requirements:
- Board Certified Gastroenterologist
- Active North Carolina license or IMLC - willing to license!
- DEA required
- Must have strong ERCP and EUS experience

Credentialing:
Estimated timeframe: 60–90 days
