About the clinician's workday

The gastroenterologist will provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient coverage managing 13-15 patients daily with call responsibilities including pager and 24-hour weekend call coverage. The clinician will perform general gastroenterology procedures with ERCP and EUS preferred but not required, working closely with advanced practice providers and the GI clinic team. Daily activities include managing both scheduled and urgent consultations across multiple care settings while maintaining professional standards for patient care and clinical documentation.
