New Gastroenterology Opportunity!!

Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Cardiologist to provide inpatient hospital coverage in a collaborative and well-supported practice setting.

Position Details:
-Practice Setting: Hospital
-Patient Population: Adult
-Specialty: Cardiology
-EMR: EPIC
-Coverage Need: Minimum of 1 week per month plus 1 weekend per month, as scheduling requires
-Shifts do not need to be consecutive

Responsibilities
-Provide inpatient cardiology consults upon request
-Perform evaluation and management (E&M) services
-Read and interpret echocardiograms and nuclear cardiology studies performed in the hospital
-Manage and provide care for patients admitted under Cone Health HeartCare
-Maintain a manual log of all charges and services provided

Requirements:
-Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
-Active state license preferred
-Experience with inpatient cardiology consults and cardiac imaging interpretation
-Comfortable working within an EPIC EMR environment
