Hiring - Locum - Physician - Gastroenterology in Columbia, South Carolina

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
(7:30a-3p OP procedures; 3p-5p IP rounding/procedures (10hr per day, total 7a-5p)
Call: No call required

Practice Highlights:
Mix of outpatient endoscopy procedures and inpatient consults
Providers work at an outpatient endoscopy center and nearby hospital
Floating between two facilities located across the street from each other
Focus on general GI procedures including upper endoscopy and colonoscopy
No advanced procedures required (ERCP/EUS not required)
EPIC EMR system

Clinical Details:
Patient Population: Adults
Typical Volume: Approximately 3–5 patients per day
Procedures include upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, and inpatient consults

Requirements:
Board Certified Gastroenterology
Active South Carolina medical license
BLS and ACLS certification required
DEA required
Minimum 2 years of Gastroenterology experience

Additional Information:
Travel expenses covered

• Coverage needed per month (24hr / hourly shifts / shifts + call, etc): 7:30a-3p OP procedures; 3p-5p IP rounding/procedures (10hr per day, total 7a-5p)
• Frequency of any Call needed: No call.
