Locum Gastroenterology Call Coverage – Mechanicsville, VA

Position Details:
• Schedule: 24-hour call coverage
• Setting: Hospital-based practice with outpatient GI responsibilities
• EMR: Epic

Coverage Dates:
• Dec 21 – Dec 25 (Monday 7:00 AM – Friday 7:00 AM)

Practice Details:
• Mix of inpatient and outpatient GI coverage
• Lab and imaging available onsite
• Average of ~8 procedures per week

Common Procedures:
• Colonoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, Lower GI Endoscopy
• Upper GI Endoscopy (EGD) with biopsy and therapeutic interventions
• ERCP (required)
• Liver biopsy and esophageal procedures
• EUS preferred

Requirements:
• Board Certified Gastroenterology
• Active Virginia license
• ERCP required
• Clean malpractice history
• NPDB self-query required at presentation
