The facility is equipped with 2 endoscopy suites, on-site laboratory services, and on-site X-ray, supporting a structured gastroenterology program with a permanent staff of 3 MDs. About the clinician's workday

The gastroenterologist will provide inpatient and clinic-based gastroenterology coverage on a day shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with weekend shifts running 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM at this on-site facility. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment, structured from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM on an unrestricted basis, with an average of 1-2 callbacks expected. Clinical responsibilities include managing an average daily census of 20-25 patients, 8-10 admissions, and an average of 4 procedures per day, including 2-4 add-on procedures; ERCP proficiency is preferred for this assignment. Clinical documentation is managed through the EPIC EMR system, and the facility is equipped with 2 endoscopy suites, on-site lab, and on-site X-ray.
