Hospitalist APP Needed in Rochester, NH

Job description

Assignment Details:

Start Date: June 26, 2026
Schedule: Night shifts, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Coverage: 8–10 shifts per month

Work Details:

Admissions: ~0–3 medical admissions per night
Consults: ~0–3 rehab/psych consults per night
Facility: ~84-bed hospital
ED Volume: ~26,500 visits/year
ICU: Open ICU (5 beds); no procedures required
EM physicians assist with procedures
Tele-ICU manages vents and drips
Supervising physician available by phone

Practice Environment:

Collaborative, team-based setting with multiple providers per shift
APPs typically manage lower-acuity cases with physician support
Strong nursing and ancillary staff support
Community hospital with steady patient flow and moderate pace
Focus on efficient admissions, discharges, and patient throughput

Additional Notes:

Rarely working independently
Balanced workload with consistent patient turnover and manageable acuity
