Job description

Aya Locums is seeking an experienced Hospitalist NP/PA for a night shift assignment in Central Indiana, providing inpatient coverage for adult and geriatric patients.

Assignment Details
• Start Date: April 2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (anticipated)
• Schedule: 7 on every third week
• Shift Hours: 7:00p–7:00a
• Coverage Pattern: 7 consecutive night shifts every third week

Work Details
• Support Staff: Works independently overnight with on-call physician support
• Patients Per Shift: Average 29
• Patient Population: Adult/Geriatric (ages 18–100)
• EMR: Meditech Expanse
• ICU-level comfort (vent management, pressors, line management, etc.)

Practice Setting
• Hospital – Inpatient

Requirements
• License: Active Indiana license required
• DEA: Required
• Experience: 2+ years Hospitalist experience preferred
• Strong general Med/Surg experience
