Location:
Lebanon, Indiana is the county seat of Boone County, located in central Indiana approximately 29 miles northwest of downtown Indianapolis. Schedule: 7 days on / 14 days off, 12-hour shifts | Full-Time, On-site
Compensation: $140,250/year

Job Summary:
BAS Healthcare is seeking an experienced Acute Care Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join the inpatient hospitalist team at Witham Health Services in Lebanon, IN. The APP will deliver comprehensive inpatient care in collaboration with physicians and an interdisciplinary team, managing hospitalized patients across the full continuum of care — from admission through diagnosis, treatment, and safe discharge planning. This role offers a favorable 7-on/14-off schedule with 12-hour shifts, ideal for providers seeking a strong work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and formulate diagnoses for acute and chronic conditions
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and initiate evidence-based treatment plans
  • Manage hospitalized patients in collaboration with physicians and the broader care team
  • Facilitate safe, efficient discharge planning
  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care environment

Minimum Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (master's or doctorate) or an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Unrestricted license to practice in the State of Indiana
  • Minimum of 2 years of acute care clinical experience
  • Current national certification in relevant Advanced Practice specialty, with recent clinically related experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain prescriptive privileges, including a collaborative practice agreement with a designated physician submitted to the Indiana State Nursing Board
  • Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and team collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage complex, high-acuity patients across a variety of clinical settings
