Job description

Opportunity Details:

Location: California (multiple sites)

Start Date: May

Contract Length: Ongoing

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7on/7off (day and night coverage available)

Work Details:

Coverage across two hospital sites (credentialing required at both)

Hospital sizes: ~80–144 beds depending on site/expansion

Closed ICU model

60% admit rate at primary site

No procedures required for day shifts (code blue handled by ICU team)

Nocturnists handle procedures and vent management

No observation unit

EMR: EPIC

Requirements:

Board Certified in Internal Medicine

Experience in high-acuity settings required

Must be able to work across both locations

Local/drive-in candidates only (mileage and hotel reimbursed if needed; no flights)
