Assignment highlights
• Facilities:
o Irvine (80 beds currently)
o Los Alamitos (80 beds)
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7 on / 7 off — day and night coverage needed
• Clinical scope:
o Day shifts: no procedures; code blue handled by ICU team
o Night shifts: nocturnists perform procedures and ventilator management
o Closed ICU and no observation unit at Irvine
o ~60% admit rate at Irvine
• EMR: Epic
• Requirements: Board certified and experience in high-acuity settings
• Candidate: Local, drive-in candidates only. Mileage reimbursement and hotel if needed. No flights.
• Compensation: Negotiable
