The hospital features advanced Level III NICU capabilities, 24-hour dedicated anesthesiology coverage for Labor & Delivery, round-the-clock neonatology and pediatric hospitalist coverage, creating an exceptional high-acuity clinical environment.

Opportunity:
Physician - Hospitalist - OB

Job Details:
• Provide 24-hour in-house OB Hospitalist coverage within a Maternal-Fetal Medicine led practice
• Manage OB triage for unassigned patients and private physician requests
• Respond to and manage MFM patient transports (approximately 5-6 per month)
• Assist in cesarean sections (0-3 cases on average; assist in 1-2 cases)
• Conduct inpatient rounding, including postpartum patients
• Participate in shared rounding of antepartum patients alongside Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists
• Perform gynecologic emergency department evaluations for unassigned patients
• Work within a high-volume, multidisciplinary hospital environment with comprehensive support services
• Collaborate with separate on-call GYN surgical service for gynecologic surgical management
• Work 5-6 shifts per 4-week cycle with weekends assigned within rotation
• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
• Requires active California medical license with clean malpractice and license history
• Must be willing to relocate to immediate local area
• Full-time permanent position - no locums or visa candidates accepted
