Job description

THE LOCUMS NEED IS FOR BOTH DAYS AND NIGHTS

Shift times- 3 days shifts 7am-5p, 1 days shift 9am-7pm, 1 night shift 7p-7a

Dates-December 1 ongoing

Census-14-16 patients per day

Procedures required? Yes for nights, lines, intubations although ED can do some of these

If yes, are Procedural logs required from past 12 months must reflect – Ex: Central Lines, Intubations, & Vents? For new hires we should get procedure logs especially if they are going to do nights

Open ICU? # of ICU beds? Intensivist on staff?Open Icu at night. Intensivist present during the day , available by phone at night

Must round in ICU? No day rounding

Is provider required to respond to codes?yes

EMR type?Meditech

Patient population?underserved, spanish speaking

Accepting both Internal and Family Medicine trained?yes. They have an FM residency and many stay and work as hospitalists, many current are trained in FM

Certifications required (ACLS/BLS)? Hospital probably requires. I would prefer yes

Support staff (#of other physicians, APP’s, etc)? No

Will provider be solo?at night yes.
