PRN Hospitalist Assignment in New Hampshire

Job description

We are currently seeking a hospitalist for an opportunity in New Hampshire!

This position is PRN – they can pick up shifts whenever they can or choose whatever is open at the facility! (Both Days and Nights will be available throughout the assignment)

Start Date: ASAP
End date: Ongoing
Schedule: Days, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM; 1 physician on-site and on-call for the full shift
Post-Shift Call: No call or callback expectations after shift completion
APP Coverage: APPs may be used for surge/backup
Orientation: 2 shadow/orientation shifts, 12 hours each

Experience: Seasoned providers preferred; must be comfortable handling 22+ encounters
Additional Coverage: Consults for geropsych and rehab units
Fellowship/Certifications: No specific requirements
Emergency Privileges: May be considered based on need
Case Logs: Required; details reviewed with MSO during credentialing

Hospital Size: 100 beds
Daily Census: 14–24 patients
Daily Admissions: 4–5
Consult Volume: 4–6 per day, mainly behavioral health and rehab
Patient Population: Underserved
ICU: Open ICU with tele-intensivist support
ICU Rounding: Yes
Procedures: No specific procedures required
Vent/Drip Management: Supported by virtual intensivist
Support Staff: PT, OT, SLP, case managers, respiratory therapy, virtual intensivist, ED and surgery support
