Facility:
This regional medical center serves as a vital healthcare resource for the community, licensed for 116 beds with a current census of approximately 30-35 patients. The facility provides comprehensive medical services with 24-hour support including anesthesia, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, laboratory, and radiology services.

Opportunity:
Physician - Hospitalist - Pediatrics

Job Details:
• Provide hospitalist services for adult, pediatric, and newborn nursery patients during 8PM-8AM night shifts
• Must maintain active North Carolina medical license
• Board certification required in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Med/Peds (or board eligible within 3 years of residency completion)
• Share patient census of 30-35 with another provider
• Serve as the sole doctor on rounding and admissions during night hours
• Must respond to hospital codes and emergency situations
• Required procedures include ventilation management, intubations, and EKG interpretation
• Preferred procedures include central line placement, arterial line placement, elective cardioversion, lumbar puncture, paracentesis, thoracentesis, suturing minor lacerations, and I&D
• Provide inpatient care including ICU management for adult patients
• Handle pediatric inpatient care and Level I nursery responsibilities
• Attend C-sections and high-risk deliveries as needed
• Work with consulting specialists including cardiologist, nephrologist, and oncologist
• Utilize Meditech EMR system
• Hospital-owned apartment accommodations provided
• 14-day credentialing timeframe

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
