Hospitalist Opportunity in Oregon

Assignment Length: Ongoing gap coverage while the facility recruits permanent providers

Practice Setting: Inpatient hospital

Three Highlights:

• Strictly adult floor patients with no ICU management or ICU rounding. Lines, ventilators and intubations are handled by the intensivists.

• No call required. Responsibilities may include rounding, admissions and cross coverage, with approximately 15 patients per day for rounders and 7 patients per day for admitters.

• Level II trauma center with a full complement of subspecialty support and an expanded inpatient service with approximately 350 beds.

Additional Details:

• Recently added 31 beds and needs additional coverage

• Intensivist team manages all in house codes and procedures

• Approximately 15 patients per day for rounders

• Approximately 7 patients per day for admitters

• EPIC EMR, with proficiency required

• ACLS certification required

• Oregon license preferred

• Candidates without an Oregon license may be considered if the licensing timeline is reasonable. The estimated licensing timeframe must be provided with submission.

• Candidates who are able to start sooner than 90 days must already have an Oregon license in hand

• Applicants must demonstrate care for at least 80 inpatient or outpatient patients within the past 24 months or provide qualifying residency, fellowship or research documentation
