Job description
Position Summary
Seeking an additional Board Certified or Board Eligible OB Hospitalist to join a busy hospital serving North Fort Worth, Haslet, Justin, Roanoke, and surrounding areas. This is a permanent, full-time position requiring residency within the immediate local area. Relocation assistance may be available.
Note: Not accepting Locum or visa candidates.
Assignment Details
Specialty: OB Hospitalist
Shift Type: 24-hour shifts
Schedule Options:
Full-time: 7.5 24-hour shifts/month
Part-time: Minimum 5.5 24-hour shifts/month (still benefits eligible)
Weekend Requirements: Same as above
On-Call Requirements: None
Annual Volumes:
Deliveries: 1,924 (96 vaginal and C-section performed by hospitalists)
C-section rate: 40%
OB/GYN triage visits: 2,296
OBED consults: 1,229
Job Responsibilities
Manage OB triage, admissions, deliveries, and inpatient care
Cover unassigned patients and assist with private call coverage
Handle OB floor and ER consults for GYN emergencies
Assist in Cesarean section surgical procedures
Respond to emergencies in the labor and delivery unit
Collaborate with:
In-house neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners (Level II NICU)
Maternal-fetal medicine specialists for high-risk pregnancies
Required Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN (within 5 years of residency)
Active Texas medical license (or in process)
Clean malpractice and license history (highly preferred)
DEA (must be obtained prior to start)

Compensation: $135/hr (~$292,000/year assuming full schedule)
